My Past Internships/Future Job
I began work at Citadel Investment Group, L.L.C. on April 1st. Citadel is a trading firm specializing in trading hedge funds. My position is in Release Management/Quality Assurance.
My internship last summer was with Technology Services
Group. TSG is a computer consulting firm specializing in web-based document managment development. My role was on an
internal project for the human resources department. It was an amazing experience and a fantastic company.
My PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) experience was a consulting
internship based in Detroit, MI at Visteon (automotive systems). PwC has a consulting and auditing side of the business.
The consulting side helps businesses with problems. My role in the project at Visteon was to aid in gathering information
for a request for proposal dealing with customs outsourcing.
My summer at Ameritech was quite an experience. I met
many great people and learned project managment skills. My main role was to assist the project manager. In doing that, I
attended many meetings and developed an issues database in Access. I also had the experience to work closely with Anderson Consultants
(now Accenture) on the database.
My internship at White Cap, Inc. was more engineering
based type of work. White Cap, Inc. manufactures metal and plastic closures as well as machines to apply the closures. My
role at White Cap was in the package evaluation laboratory. There, I analyzed faulty caps and tested new caps. I also had
the experience to learn some Unigraphic (3D modeling) and design a laser mounting bracket to aid in testing caps in the future.
